TabTrade - What Traders Should Know
TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
